CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Tax Enforcement Act (Assented to May 30, 2002) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advi ce and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Tax Enforcement Amendment Act, 2002. R.S.S. 1978, c.T-2 amended The Tax Enforcement Act is amended in the manner set forth in this Act.

Section amended Subsection 26(1) is amended in the portion preceding clause (

a) by striking out “$2,000” and substituting “the prescribed amount”. New

section 37.1

Section 37.1 is repealed and the following substituted: “Regulations 37.1 The Lieutenant Governor in Council may make regulations: (

a) defining, enlarging or restricting the meaning of any word or expression used in this Act but not defined in this Act; (

b) prescribing a property value for the purposes of subsection 26(1); (

c) prescribing any forms required for the purposes of this Act; (

d) prescribing any matter or thing required or authorized by this Act to be prescribed in the regulations; (

e) respecting any other matter or thing that the Lieutenant Governor in Council considers necessary to carry out the intent of this Act”. Coming into force This Act comes into force on proclamation.
