OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated February 7, 2008, and pursuant to Order in Council 81-1422 dated November 17, 1981, which Order approved the establishment of Trade Centre Limited, and pursuant to Order in Council 85-342 dated April 2, 1985, and pursuant to the Articles of Association of the Corporation, and pursuant to all other authority in her vested is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Gordon Gillis of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a voting member of the Board of the Corporation for the period commencing April 1, 2008 and ending March 31, 2012; (

b) reappoint George Moody of Waterville, Kings County, as a voting member of the Board of the Corporation for the period commencing April 1, 2008 and ending March 31, 2012; (

c) reappoint George Moody as member and designate him as Vice Chair of the Board of the Corporation for a period commencing April 1, 2008 and ending March 31, 2012; (

d) authorize the payment of $100.00 per day, plus reasonable expenses, to the members of the Board for work involving the Corporation; and (

e) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against the above appointees of the Board of Directors of the Trade Centre Limited and indemnify them from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided, however, that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of their activities in relation to their appointment, and is not based on fraud or criminal activity, and where the Province so defends them, the Province will be in control of the case.
