B.C. Reg. 87/2008 , deposited May 2, 2008, pursuant to the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE ACT , [Section 35] and the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ACT , [Section 26]. Order in Council 254/2008 approved and ordered May 1, 2008.
On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, and the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, are amended as set out in the attached Appendix.

Appendix
1 The Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, is amended
(
a) in
section 11 (1), by adding the following paragraph:
(nn) money paid or payable to a person under the Criminal Injury Compensation Act as compensation for non-pecuniary loss or damage for pain, suffering mental or emotional trauma, humiliation or inconvenience that occurred when the person was under 19 years of age. ,
(
b) in
section 1 (
a) of
Schedule B, by adding the following subparagraph:
(xxxvii) money paid or payable to a person under the Criminal Injury Compensation Act as compensation for non-pecuniary loss or damage for pain, suffering mental or emotional trauma, humiliation or inconvenience that occurred when the person was under 19 years of age, , and
(
c) in
section 6 of
Schedule D, by adding the following paragraph:
(hh) money paid or payable to a person under the Criminal Injury Compensation Act as compensation for non-pecuniary loss or damage for pain, suffering mental or emotional trauma, humiliation or inconvenience that occurred when the person was under 19 years of age.
2 The Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, is amended
(
a) in
section 10 (1), by adding the following paragraph:
(nn) money paid or payable to a person under the Criminal Injury Compensation Act as compensation for non-pecuniary loss or damage for pain, suffering mental or emotional trauma, humiliation or inconvenience that occurred when the person was under 19 years of age. ,
(
b) in
section 1 (
a) of
Schedule B, by adding the following subparagraph:
(xxxviii) money paid or payable to a person under the Criminal Injury Compensation Act as compensation for non-pecuniary loss or damage for pain, suffering mental or emotional trauma, humiliation or inconvenience that occurred when the person was under 19 years of age, , and
(
c) in
section 6 of
Schedule D, by adding the following paragraph:
(ii) money paid or payable to a person under the Criminal Injury Compensation Act as compensation for non-pecuniary loss or damage for pain, suffering mental or emotional trauma, humiliation or inconvenience that occurred when the person was under 19 years of age.
