Statute: Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated March 3, 2016, is pleased to: (

a) pursuant to clause 65(2)(

b) of

Chapter 42 of the Acts of 2005, the Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act , re-appoint Stephen J. Scott of Halifax Regional Municipality (Bedford) as a lawyer member of the Review Board under the Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act for a three year term commencing March 19, 2016; (

b) pursuant to clause 65(5) of

Chapter 42 of the Acts of 2005, the Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act , designate Stephen J. Scott of Halifax Regional Municipality (Bedford) as Chair of the Review Board under the Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act , for a term commencing March 18, 2016 and ending March 18, 2019; (

c) confirm remuneration will be paid to the member in accordance with rates established by Order in Council 2011-183 dated May 24, 2011; and (

d) pursuant to clause 65(2)(

b) of

Chapter 42 of the Acts of 2005, the Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act , revoke the appointment of Neil Kuranyi of Windsor, Hants County, as a lawyer member of the Review Board under the Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act , effective February 15, 2016.
