On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective April 1, 2017,

(

a) the Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 1, and

(

b) the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 2.

Appendix 1

Section 11 (1) of the Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, is amended by adding the following paragraphs:

(zz) a disabled contributor’s child’s benefit paid or payable under the Canada Pension Plan ;

(aaa) payments granted under an agreement referred to in

section 94 of the Child, Family and Community Service Act ;

(bbb) money that is paid or payable, in respect of a child, from property that comes into the control of, or is held by, the Public Guardian and Trustee.

Section 1 (

a) of

Schedule B is amended

(

a) by repealing subparagraph (ii), and

(

b) by adding the following subparagraphs:

(li) a disabled contributor’s child’s benefit paid or payable under the Canada Pension Plan ;

(lii) payments granted under an agreement referred to in

section 94 of the Child, Family and Community Service Act ;

(liii) money that is paid or payable, in respect of a child, from property that comes into the control of, or is held by, the Public Guardian and Trustee, .

Section 6 of

Schedule D is amended by adding the following paragraphs:

(yy) a disabled contributor’s child’s benefit paid or payable under the Canada Pension Plan ;

(zz) payments granted under an agreement referred to in

section 94 of the Child, Family and Community Service Act ;

(aaa) money that is paid or payable, in respect of a child, from property that comes into the control of, or is held by, the Public Guardian and Trustee.

Appendix 2

Section 10 (1) of the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, is amended by adding the following paragraphs:

(zz) a disabled contributor’s child’s benefit paid or payable under the Canada Pension Plan ;

(aaa) payments granted under an agreement referred to in

section 94 of the Child, Family and Community Service Act ;

(bbb) money that is paid or payable, in respect of a child, from property that comes into the control of, or is held by, the Public Guardian and Trustee.
