OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated December 16, 2003, pursuant to

Section 16 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to: (

a) approve the issuance of a lease by the Minister of Natural Resources of a parcel of Crown land containing 0.6 hectares (1.6 acres), more or less, situate at Waverley, Halifax County, and shown outlined in red on the plan marked

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, to the Nova Scotia Firefighters School, a society duly incorporated under the Societies Act with its registered office at Waverley, Halifax County, its successors, trustees, and permitted assigns for the purpose of operating and maintaining an area for parking and firefighter training, and for no other purpose, for a term of ten (10) years at the full term rent of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) with the right to renew the lease for a further ten (10) year term at a rent to be fixed by the Lessor, provided that the Lessee has satisfactorily complied with terms and conditions of the lease; and (

b) authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
