OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Acting President of the Executive Council dated March 7 , 2002, and pursuant to the Public Service Act, the
Interpretation Act, the Public Service Superannuation Act, the Civil Service Act, and all other authority in her vested, is pleased, effective March 8, 2002, to: (
a) accept the resignation and revoke the appointments of the following persons from the positions set opposite their respective names: Kevin McNamara -Deputy Minister of Environment and Labour; Ronald L'Esperance -Deputy Minister of Economic Development; Robert MacKay -Deputy Minister of the Technology and Science Secretariat; (
b) appoint the undernoted persons to the positions set opposite their respective names: Ronald L'Esperance - Deputy Minister of Environment and Labour; Robert MacKay - Chief Executive Officer of the Office of Economic Development; (
c) designate Robert MacKay and Ronald L'Esperance as deputy heads within the meaning of the Civil Service Act and direct that they shall receive all customary benefits associated with the position of Deputy Minister; and (
d) designate Robert MacKay and Ronald L'Esperance to be employees for the purposes of the Public Service Superannuation Act.
