OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Emergency Management dated October 3, 2024, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased, effective on and after October 24, 2024, to approve the Minister of Emergency Management entering into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure for the province of New Brunswick, the Minister of Justice and Public Safety for the province of Prince Edward Island, and the Minister of Justice and Public Safety and the Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs for the province of Newfoundland and Labrador in relation to public safety and public works radio communications, substantially in the form set forth in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, subject only to such variations as do not materially change the Memorandum of Understanding.
