OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables dated March 7, 2023, and pursuant to clause 7(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act , is pleased to approve the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables: (

a) acquiring land that is approximately 75.3 hectares (186.2 acres) and identified as PIDs Nos. 10088193, 35087568 and 35216092, located at Loch Katrine, Antigonish County, and Manchester, Guysborough County, and shown outlined in bold on the maps marked as Schedules “A” and “B” attached to and form part of the Report and Recommendation, from David Maurice Kavanaugh and Anne Marie Kavanaugh, or their executors, heirs, trustees, administrators and approved successors and assigns for a purchase price of $162,000.00 (plus HST, if applicable), subject to the condition that David Maurice Kavanaugh and Anne Marie Kavanaugh, or their executors, heirs, trustees, administrators and approved successors and assigns, are able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

b) executing such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
