CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Public Libraries Act (No. 2) (Assented to June 3, 1980) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Public Libraries Amendment Act, 1980 (No. 2). Rev. Stat. c. P-39 The Public Libraries Act is amended in the manner set forth in this Act.

Section amended The following subsection is added after subsection 3(2): “

(3) The Provincial Library is deemed to be a person for the purposes of The Non‑profit Corporations Act”. New

section 75.1 The following

section is added after

section 75: Membership interest in non-profit corporation “75.1 The Provincial Library, the board of a municipal library or the board of a regional library may acquire a membership interest in a non-profit corporation as provided for under The Non‑profit Corporations Act”. UNEDITED
