OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Tourism and Culture dated March 31, 2003, and pursuant to
Section 6 of
Chapter 89 of the Acts of 1980, the Gaelic College Foundation Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint the following persons as members of the Board of Governors of the Gaelic College Foundation, each for a term of two years commencing May 1, 2003: Joseph MacNeil of RR#1 St. Peter's, Richmond County; Kenneth H. J. Verner of Dingwall, Victoria County; and (
b) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Kenneth H. J. Verner and Joseph MacNeil and indemnify them from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of their activities in relation to their appointment, and is not based on fraud or criminal activity, and where the Province so defends them, the Province will be in control of the case.
