Order in Council 276/2018

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council O.C. 275/2018 dated February 21, 2018 the position of Special Advisor for Climate Change, Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change was established;

Therefore , pursuant to the Prerogative of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario to provide for remuneration of persons who serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities the following remuneration is determined for the position of Special Advisor for Climate Change, Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (“Advisor”):

The Advisor shall be paid annual remuneration of $146,700 and reimbursed for reasonable work-related expenses incurred in carrying out the duties of Advisor in accordance with the Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directives and any other Treasury Board or Management Board of Cabinet directives.
