OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour and Advanced Education dated July 14, 2016, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act and

Section 77 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act , is pleased to authorize the Minister of Labour and Advanced Education on behalf of Her Majesty in right of the Province of Nova Scotia to: (

a) enter into a Contribution Agreement for the Post-Secondary Strategic Investment Fund with Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada as represented by the Minister of Industry, substantially in the form as agreed to by the Executive Council on July 14, 2016 (the Agreement), to be effective upon the signature of both parties and expiring March 31, 2019; (

b) enter into future amendments to extend the term of the Agreement as long as there are no substantial changes to the other terms and conditions of the Agreement; and (

c) enter into additional agreements with Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada necessary to achieve the objectives of the Agreement.
