OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated September 21, 2011, and pursuant to
Section 11 of
Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, is pleased to: (
a) authorize the release of easements with respect to certain lands, being a private road known as Bedford Road, containing an area of 7,621 square metres, more or less, situate at or near Kingston, County of Kings, more particularly described in
Schedule "A" as shown as Parcel 99-1-E on
Schedule "C" and Parcel 99-2-E on
Schedule "B", which Schedules are attached to and form part of the Report and Recommendation; (
b) authorize the conveyance of the Release of Easement to the Municipality of the County of Kings, a Municipal Corporation under the laws of Nova Scotia, for the nominal consideration of $1.00, receipt to which will be acknowledged upon execution of the Release of Easement document, to be held in Escrow until such time as the Warranty Deed for Bedford Road is registered thereby transferring ownership to the Municipality; and (
c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute a Release of Easement document in such form as the Minister determines.
