OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Premier of Nova Scotia dated November 7, 2018, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased to confirm approval for the Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs entering into a Protocol of Understanding and Friendship for a Sister Province Relationship with Guangdong Province of the People’s Republic of China for the purposes of furthering the development of bilateral relations in pursuit of shared outcomes, in the fields including but not limited to trade, investment, information and communication technologies, ocean economy, agriculture, energy, education, culture, tourism and transportation and logistics, in the form set out in

Schedule A, attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, with such necessary modifications as the Premier may determine.
