Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Public Works dated January 25, 2006, pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, is pleased to: (

a) extinguish the right of the public to use that portion of surplus public lands containing 1.214 hectares and 1.333 hectares, more or less, and release a 15.24 metre wide right of way, situate at or near Wyvern, Cumberland County, and more particularly described in

Schedule "A" as shown crosshatched in red on Schedules "B" and "B-1" which schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation; (

b) convey the surplus public lands to Michael Hodgson of R.R.#1, Oxford Junction, Cumberland County, for the price of $201.00; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Public Works to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance and a Quit Claim Deed in such form as the Minister determines.
