OIC Number: 2010 - 423 Date of Order: Nov 23, 2010 OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic and Rural Development dated November 4, 2010 and pursuant to Order in Council #2005-373, and paragraphs 105, 108 and 109 of the Articles of Association of Waterfront Development Corporation Limited is pleased to: (

a) designate John E. Holm of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, as the Chair of the Board of Directors of Waterfront Development Corporation Limited, for the remainder of his term as member, commencing December 1, 2010 and ending March 1, 2014; (

b) authorize the payment of $150.00 per day to the members of the Board for work involving the Waterfront Development Corporation Limited; and (

c) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Waterfront Development Corporation Limited and indemnify him from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided, however, that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of his activities in relation to his designation and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends him, the Province will be in control of the case.
