OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated October 24, 2016, and pursuant to

Section 29 of

Chapter 100 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Corporations Miscellaneous Provisions Act , is pleased to: (

a) convey the land at Highway 4, St. Peter’s, Richmond County, known as PID 75193078 and as more particularly described in

Schedule “A” and shown outlined in bold on the survey in

Schedule “B”, both schedules attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, to Donald Bruce Stone and Linda Ann Stone for consideration of $28,000; (

b) authorize the Attorney General and Minister of Justice to make, execute and deliver a deed of conveyance in such form as the Attorney General and Minister of Justice determines, provided that conditions to the conveyance of the land include requirements that Donald Bruce Stone and Linda Ann Stone: (

i) pay the Department of Justice fees in the amount of $750.00; (ii) pay any arrears of the real property taxes assessed on the land; (iii) migrate title to the land at their own cost; and (iv) indemnify Her Majesty the Queen in Right of the Province of Nova Scotia for any claims against the Province arising from the land or Her Majesty’s conveyance of the land to them, on terms and conditions acceptable to the Attorney General and Minister of Justice; and (

c) authorize the Attorney General and Minister of Justice to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
