Order in Council 20/2018

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 1285/2016, dated September 14, 2016,

Christine Ada McGoey was appointed as a part-time member of the Death Investigation Oversight Council and designated as the Vice-Chair of the Death Investigation Oversight Council, effective from the 14 th day of September 2016, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding three years;

And

whereas Christine Ada McGoey has agreed to be reappointed as a part-time member of the Death Investigation Oversight Council and to be designated as the part-time Chair of the Death Investigation Oversight Council;

Therefore pursuant to subsections 8(2) and 8(3) of the Coroners Act , as amended, Christine Ada McGoey is hereby reappointed as a part-time member of the Death Investigation Oversight Council and designated as the part-time Chair of the Death Investigation Oversight Council, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a further period not exceeding three years effective from the date this Order in Council is made;

Further that Order in Council O.C. 1285/2016, dated September 14, 2016 is hereby revoked effective the date this Order in Council is made.
