Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Public Works dated October 4, 2023, and pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act , is pleased to: (

a) authorize the issuance of a temporary easement to construct and install a transmission corridor and substation over lands identified as being a portion of PID 50176643 containing an area of approximately 10.62 hectares, located at Crandall Road, Port Hastings, Inverness County, and shown outlined in bold and cross hatched on

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, to Point Tupper Marine Services Co., EverWind Terminals Canada Co., and EverWind Terminals Canada Partnership, and their successors and assigns, which will terminate upon the transfer of ownership of all infrastructure to Nova Scotia Power Incorporated; (

b) authorize the Minister of Public Works to make and execute a Temporary Easement Agreement in such form as the Minister determines to effect the issuance of the easement herein above described; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Public Works to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
