Teachers' Pension Plans Act

TEACHERS' AND PRIVATE SCHOOL TEACHERS' PENSION PLANS

(CONTRIBUION RATES 2010) AMENDMENT REGULATION

April 20, 2010 pursuant to

section 16(2) of the Teachers' Pension Plans Act and

section 12(4) of the Teachers' Pension Plans (Legislative Provisions) Regulation.

1 The Teachers' and Private School Teachers' Pension

Plans (AR 203/95) are amended by this Regulation.

Schedule 1 is amended by sections 3 to 5 of this

Regulation.

Section 10(2) is amended

(

a) in clause (

a) by striking out "6.02%" and substituting

"5.87%";

(

b) in clause (

b) by striking out "9.47%" and

substituting "9.74%".

Section 11 is amended by striking out "2.03%" and

substituting "3.17%".

Section 13 is amended

(

a) in clause (

a) by striking out "7.02%" and substituting

"7.12%";

(

b) in clause (

b) by striking out "1.91%" and

substituting "2.98%".

Schedule 2 is amended by sections 7 to 9 of this

Regulation.

Section 10 is amended

(

a) in clause (a)

(

i) by striking out "7.63%" and substituting

"7.49%";

(ii) by striking out "6.02%" and substituting

"5.87%";

(

b) in clause (b)

(

i) by striking out "10.91%" and substituting

"11.41%";

(ii) by striking out "9.47%" and substituting

"9.74%".

Section 11 is amended by striking out "0.00%" and

substituting "1.65%".

Section 13 is amended

(

(

ALBERTA HATCHING EGG PRODUCERS AUTHORIZATION

AMENDMENT REGULATION

April 29, 2010 pursuant to sections 26 and 27 of the Marketing of Agricultural

Products Act.

1 The Alberta Hatching Egg Producers Authorization

Regulation (AR 278/97) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 3 is amended by adding the following after

clause (q):

(

r) determining from time to time the minimum price or prices

that shall be paid to producers for the regulated product or

any class, variety, grade, size or kind of the regulated product

and determining different prices for different parts of

Alberta.

Section 5 is repealed.

HATCHING EGGS AMENDMENT REGULATION

For information only: Made by the Alberta Hatching Egg Producers on November

5, 2009 pursuant to sections 26 and 27 of the Marketing of Agricultural Products

Act and approved by the Agricultural Products Marketing Council on January 26,

2010 pursuant to sections 26 and 27 of the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act.

1 The Hatching Eggs Regulation (AR 280/97) is amended

by this Regulation.

2 The following is added after

section 16:

Minimum price

16.1 The Board may by resolution

(

a) determine the minimum price to be paid to a producer for

hatching eggs,

(

b) determine different prices for different classes, varieties,

grades, sizes or kinds of hatching eggs, and

(

c) determine different prices for different parts of Alberta.

Section 43 is amended by striking out "or fixed by an

arbitrator pursuant to the Hatching Egg Producers Negotiation and

Arbitration Regulation".

Wildlife Act

WILDLIFE (2010 HUNTING SEASON) AMENDMENT REGULATION

(M.O. 23/2010) on May 7, 2010 pursuant to sections 12, 23 and 103(1) of the

Wildlife Act.

1 The Wildlife Regulation (AR 143/97) is amended by this

Regulation.

Section 7(2) is amended by adding "or, to the extent that

section 30(2.3) applies to bison by name,

section 30(2.3)," after

"30(3.1)".

Section 28(2) is amended by striking out "or" at the end

of clause (f), adding "or" at the end of clause (

g) and adding

the following after clause (g):

(

h) a partner special licence issued to hunt bison,

Section 30 is amended

(

a) by adding the following after subsection (1):

(1.1) If the holder referred to in subsection (1) is a non-

resident alien, the wildlife certificate referred to in subsection

(1)(

b) must be designated as a non-resident alien wildlife

certificate.

(

b) in subsection (2)(

b) by striking out "(3)" and

substituting "(2.3), (3)";

(

c) in subsection (2.3)

(

i) in clause (a)(

i) by adding "or, in the case of the

hunting of bison, the period" after "season";

(ii) in clause (

b) by adding "or, in the case of the

hunting of bison, the area specified in the associated

principal special licence," after "principal licence,";

(

d) by repealing subsection (17) and substituting the

following:

(17) A supplemental antlerless white-tailed deer licence

authorizes and only authorizes the hunting of antlerless

white-tailed deer in wildlife management units 150, 151, 162,

163, 200 to 208, 214 to 246, 250 to 260, 300, 310 to 314, 322

to 326, 328 to 357, 360, 436 to 531 and 534 to

Safety Codes Act

PRESSURE WELDERS AMENDMENT REGULATION

section 65 of the Safety Codes Act.

1 The Pressure Welders Regulation (AR 169/2002) is

amended by this Regulation.

Section 8 is amended by repealing subsections (2) to

(3.1) and substituting the following:

(2) A Grade C Pressure Welder Certificate of Competency expires

on the date stated on the certificate, which date must be no later

than 24 months after the date the certificate is issued.

Section 16 is repealed.

Section 17(1) is repealed and the following is

substituted:

Welding examiner renewal

17(1) A Welding Examiner Certificate of Competency may be

renewed by the Administrator if the holder of the certificate of

competency applies to the Administrator on a form satisfactory to

the Administrator and

(

a) meets the qualifications required by the Safety Codes

Council in the Council's welding examiner syllabus, as

amended from time to time, for the renewal of a Welding

Examiner Certificate of Competency, or

(

b) holds a Welding Examiner Certificate of Competency that

was applied for before October 1, 2003, and issued without

examination under this Regulation as it read immediately

before May 30,

Section 25 is amended by striking out "May 31, 2010" and

substituting "May 31, 2014".

6 This Regulation comes into force on May 30, 2010.

ALBERTA SOFT WHEAT PRODUCERS PLAN

AMENDMENT REGULATION

1 The Alberta Soft Wheat Producers Plan Regulation

(AR 23/99) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 1(1) is amended

a) in clause (

substituting "region";

(

c) by striking out "district" wherever it

occurs and substituting "region";

(

c) in clause (

o) by striking out "district" and

substituting "region";

(

b) any dealer who collects a service charge shall, subject to any

i) to deduct a service charge in respect of regulated

product sold by or on behalf of a producer in

accordance with clause (a), or

(ii) to pay the service charge to the Commission in

accordance with clause (b),

is liable to the Commission for the amount of the service

charge;

Section 13 is amended

(

a) in subsections (2) and (3) by striking out "district"

wherever it occurs and substituting "region";

(

b) in subsection (3)(

b) by striking out "district's"

Section 14 is amended by striking out "district" and

Eligible producer

18 For the purposes of this Plan, an eligible producer is a producer

who has

a) produced the regulated product, and

b) paid the required service charges.
