OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated April 18, 2002, and pursuant to

Section 9 of the Acts of 1990, the Health Council Act, is pleased to: (a)appoint John R. Dow as the Executive Director of the Provincial Health Council for a term of two years, effective May 3, 2002; (b)determine that the person occupying the position of Executive Director shall be deemed to be an employee for the purpose of the Public Service Superannuation Act; (c)direct that the Executive Director shall be subject to all terms, conditions and benefits of employment to which public servants are subject to pursuant to the Civil Service Act; (d)determine that John R.

Dow be bound by the principles and purposes of both the Corporate Code of Conduct for Civil Servants and the Members and Public Employees' Disclosure Act; and (e)fix and determine the salary of the Executive Director to be at the rate of $70,000 per annum with such increments as applicable, effective May 3, 2002.
