OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations dated September 1, 2009, and pursuant to subsection 452 (3) of

Chapter 18 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1998, the Municipal Government Act, and

Section 59C of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, is pleased to: (

a) authorize the Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations to enter into the 'Canada-Nova Scotia Building Canada Fund - Communities Component Amendment Agreement' with the Government of Canada to provide for Federal and Provincial funding of $14.0 million each, for the purpose of the BCF-CC Top-Up program, to include the programs, terms and conditions outlined in the agreement substantially in the form set out in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (

b) authorize the Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations to execute such other documents or agreements as may be required to give effect to this Order.
