Statute: Voluntary Planning Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Chair of Treasury and Policy Board dated January 21, 2009, and pursuant to

Section 3 of

Chapter 496 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Voluntary Planning Act, and clauses 18(1)(

a) and (

c) of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, is pleased to: (

a) revoke the appointment of Margaret F. MacDonald of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Nova Scotia Voluntary Planning Board, effective February 25, 2009; (

b) appoint Greg Keefe of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Nova Scotia Voluntary Planning Board, for a two year term commencing February 25, 2009; (

c) appoint the following persons as members of the Nova Scotia Voluntary Planning Board, each for a three year term commencing February 25, 2009: Suzanne Drapeau of Halifax Regional Municipality, Rick MacDonald of Halifax Regional Municipality, Louis Tousignant of RR#1 Brooklyn, Queens County, Candace Stevenson of Halifax Regional Municipality, and Dr. Donna Hurlburt of Annapolis County; and (

d) reappoint Carl Doty of Yarmouth, Yarmouth County, as a member of the Nova Scotia Voluntary Planning Board for a three year term commencing February 1, 2009.
