OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Securities Act dated October 20, 2015, and pursuant to
Section 4 and 7 of
Chapter 418 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Securities Act , is pleased to: (
a) revoke the re-appointment and designation of Sarah P. Bradley as member and Chair of the Nova Scotia Securities Commission, which reappointment and designation were made by Order in Council 2014-497, effective September 5, 2015; (
b) revoke the designation of Paul E. Radford, Q.C., as Vice-chair of the Nova Scotia Securities Commission, which designation was made by Order in Council 2012-385, effective November 10, 2015; (
c) re-appoint Paul E. Radford, Q.C., of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a member of the Nova Scotia Securities Commission for a further term of three years commencing December 18, 2015; (
d) designate Paul E. Radford, Q.C, as Chair of the Nova Scotia Securities Commission for a term commencing November 10, 2015, and ending December 17, 2018; and (
e) determine the remuneration of Paul E. Radford, Q.C., as member and Chair of the Nova Scotia Securities Commission to be $91,533.48 per year plus expenses, adjusted annually commencing January 1, 2016, in accordance with any pay plan adjustments approved for non-bargaining civil servants for the 2015-16 and subsequent fiscal years.
