OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Public Works dated October 17, 2005, pursuant to
Section 18 of
Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act, and
Section 11 of
Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, is pleased to: (
a) extinguish the right of the public to use that portion of the public highway system containing 7,529 square feet, together with 2,560 square feet of surplus land for a total area of 10,089 square feet, more or less, situate at or near Crescent Beach, Lunenburg County, and more particularly described in
Schedule "A" as shown crosshatched in red on
Schedule "B" which schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation; (
b) convey the land to Henry E. Gardner and Paulette D. Gardner of LaHave, Lunenburg County, for the price of $700.00; and (
c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Public Works to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines.
