OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated May 25, 2004, pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 155 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Executive Council Act, is pleased, effective May 31, 2004, to: (

a) revoke the appointment of Alison Scott as Clerk of the Executive Council; (

b) appoint Paul LaFleche as Clerk of the Executive Council; (

c) designate Paul LaFleche as a deputy head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act and the Public Service Act and direct that he shall receive all customary benefits associated with the position of deputy head including participation in the Province of Nova Scotia Long Term Disability Plan during the term of his appointment as Clerk of the Executive Council and further designate him to be an employee for the purposes of the Public Service Superannuation Act; and (

d) fix and determine the terms and conditions of employment of Paul LaFleche as may be approved by Treasury and Policy Board.
