OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture dated April 10, 2008, and pursuant to Sections 4 and 5 of
Chapter 8 of the Acts of 1993, the Maritime Provinces Harness Racing Commission Act, is pleased to: (
a) nominate, for reappointment by the Council of Atlantic Premiers, as a member of the Maritime Provinces Harness Racing Commission, Frank Balcom of Amherst, Cumberland County, as representative of Mainland Nova Scotia for a term of office as determined by the Council of Atlantic Premiers upon their approval; and (
b) determine that as a condition of appointment, Mr. Balcom shall be bound by the principles and purposes of the Corporate Code of Conduct for Civil Servants and
Chapter 4 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1991, the Members and Public Employees Disclosure Act.
