MADELEINE DUBÉ M me MADELEINE DUBÉ 1 BILL Parental Choice in Education Act Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as fol- lows: Delay Policy Change Notwithstanding any provision of the Education Act ,

chapter E-1.12 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1997, no changes shall be made to Department of Education Policy Statement 309, made effective on April 21, 1994, and re- vised on October 25, 2001, unless (

a) a referendum is held concerning the proposed changes, and (

b) the referendum authorizes the changes. Commencement This Act comes into force on a day to be fixed by proclamation. PROJET DE LOI

Malgré toute disposition de la

Loi sur l’éducation ,

chapitre E-1.12 des Lois du Nouveau-Brunswick de 1997, aucun changement ne sera apporté à la politique du ministère de l’Éducation, prise le avril et révisée le octobre 2001, sans que les conditions suivantes soient réunies :

a) un référendum est tenu à ce sujet;

b) le référendum autorise les changements. Entrée en vigueur La présente loi entre en vigueur à la date fixée par proclamation.
