OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic and Rural Development and Tourism dated December 16, 2010, and pursuant to Sections 6 and 7 of

Chapter 20 of the Acts of 1990, the Film Nova Scotia Act, which approved the establishment of Film Nova Scotia, is pleased to: (

a) appoint H. Gordon Anderson of Barney's River, Pictou County, as a voting member of the Board of Directors of Film Nova Scotia for a term of three (3) years commencing February 1, 2011; (

b) authorize the payment of $100 per day, plus reasonable expenses, to the member of the Board for attending Board meetings of Film Nova Scotia; and (

c) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against the above appointee of the Board of Directors of Film Nova Scotia and indemnify him from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided, however, that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of his activities in relation to his appointment, and is not based on fraud or criminal activity, and where the Province so defends him, the Province will be in control of the case.
