OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated December 7, 2024, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 430 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Small Claims Court Act , is pleased to: (

a) re-appoint Eric Sloane as an adjudicator of the Small Claims Court for a term of three (3) years, effective on and after December 11, 2024; (

b) re-appoint Ray O’Blenis, Peter Lederman, KC, Brent Silver, Michael O’Hara, J. Scott Barnett, as adjudicators of the Small Claims Court, each for a term of office extending from December 22, 2024, to and including December 10, 2027; (

c) re-appoint Andrew S. Nickerson, KC, as an adjudicator of the Small Claims Court for a term of office extending from January 20, 2025, to and including December 10, 2027; (

d) re-appoint Andrea Rizzato as an adjudicator of the Small Claims Court for a term of office extending from February 13, 2025, to and including December 10, 2027; and (

e) appoint the following as adjudicators of the Small Claims Court, each for a term of one (1) year, effective on and after December 11, 2024: (

i) Janice Maloney, KC, of Colchester County; (ii) Gary Rankin, of Pictou County; (iii) Doug Lloy, KC, of Pictou County; and (iv) Ryan Clements, of Lunenburg County.
