Order in Council 1512/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council 865/2021 the Lieutenant Governor in Council established the position of Special Advisor to support the development of an Ontario Data Authority (the “Special Advisor”);

And

Whereas by Order in Council 915/2021 the Lieutenant Governor in Council appointed Andy Best as the Special Advisor for a period not extending beyond October 31, 2021;

And

Whereas by Order in Council 1096/2021 the Lieutenant Governor in Council made the Special Advisor accountable to the Minister of Finance;

THEREFORE , pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario:

Andy Best of Fergus

be reappointed as the Special Advisor for a period not extending beyond December 31, 2021 effective as of the date this Order in Council is made.
