OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour dated November 2, 1998, and pursuant to subsections 3(1) and (2) of
Chapter 440 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Stationary Engineers Act, and to
Section 15 of Regulations made pursuant to subsection 4(1) of the said
Chapter 440, by Order in Council 88-628, as amended by Order in Council 90-1464, is pleased to: (
a) revoke the appointments of the following persons as members of the Board of Examiners pursuant to the Stationary Engineers Act: Clifford W. Burgess of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; Raymond McNab of Glace Bay, Cape Breton Regional Municipality; and William Harris of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; (
b) revoke the appointment of Clarence William Purcell of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member and Chairperson of the Board of Examiners pursuant to the Stationary Engineers Act; (
c) appoint the following persons as members of the Board of Examiners pursuant to the Stationary Engineers Act: Jude F.J. Rankin of Mabou, Inverness County; Otis Scott of R.R.#5 Bridgewater, Lunenburg County; Blanchard Fralic of R.R.#4 New Glasgow, Pictou County; William Fisher of Lower Sackville, Halifax Regional Municipality; (
d) designate Blanchard Fralic of R.R.#4 New Glasgow, Pictou County, as Chair of the Board of Examiners pursuant to the Stationary Engineers Act; (
e) determine the remuneration of Jude F.J. Rankin, Otis Scott and William Fisher to each be at the rate of $100.00 for each day they attend a meeting of the Board of Examiners; and (
f) determine the remuneration of Blanchard Fralic to be fixed at the rate of $2,500.00 per annum.
