Statute: Expropriation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Public Works dated January 31, 2000, pursuant to

Section 80 of

Chapter 156 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Expropriation Act, is pleased to: (

a) lease that portion of the public land containing 8.31 acres, more or less, situate at or near South Maitland, Hants County, and more particularly described in

Schedule "A" as Parcels 1, 2 and 3 and shown outlined in red on

Schedule "B" and

Schedule "C" which schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation; (

b) lease the said land, for a twenty year term, to The South Maitland Historical Association, Hants County, for the price of $150.00 per term; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Public Works to make and execute a Lease in such form as the Minister determines.
