OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated July 20, 2023, and pursuant to
Section 6 of
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, is pleased, effective September 12, 2023, to approve the Attorney General and Minister of Justice entering into a Program Funding Agreement for the period of April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2025, with His Majesty the King in right of Canada, as represented by the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, regarding the continuation of a Family Information Liaison Unit within the Department of Justice Victim Services for families of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls, substantially in the form set forth in
Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, subject only to such variations as do not materially change the Agreement.
