Statute: Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated August 18, 2003, pursuant to clause 2(

c) of

Chapter 3 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act, is pleased, effective August 18, 2003, to: (

a) revoke Order in Council 1999-415 dated August 19, 1999, which Order charged the administration of the Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act to the Honourable Jane S. Purves; and (

b) charge the administration of the Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act to the Honourable Carolyn Bolivar-Getson, a Member of the Executive Council, who may be described as the Minister responsible for the Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act.
