B.C. Reg. 288/2002, deposited October 29, 2002, pursuant to the PHARMACISTS, PHARMACY OPERATIONS AND DRUG SCHEDULING ACT [Section

64]. Order in Council 924/2002, approved and ordered October 29, 2002.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the amendments to B.C. Reg. 9/98, the Drug Schedules Regulation, as set out in the attached Resolution of the Council of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia dated April 26, 2002, are hereby approved. — S. Resolution of the Council of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia ("the Council"), made at Vancouver, British Columbia, the 26th day of April 2002.

RESOLVED THAT:

In accordance with the authority established in

section 64 of The Pharmacists, Pharmacy Operations and Drug Scheduling Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 363 of British Columbia, the Council amends the Drug Schedules Regulation as set out in the attached schedule, subject to the approval of the Lieutenant Governor in Council. — L. Schedule

That, effective immediately, the Drug Schedules Regulation be amended by the deletion of:

1 Ephedrine and its salts (in preparations containing more than 11 mg per single dose and 32.5 mg per recommended daily dose, and if indicated for other than nasal congestion)

And the addition of:

1 Ephedrine and its salts (in preparations containing more than 8 mg per unit dose or with a label recommending more than 8 mg per dose or 32 mg per day, or labelled or implied for use exceeding 7 days, or if indicated for other than nasal congestion)
