An Act to amend The Architects Act, 1996 (Assented to ) HIS MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Architects Amendment Act, 2022. SS 1996, c A-25.1 amended The Architects Act, 1996 is amended in the manner set forth in this Act.

Section amended The following clause is added after clause 2(t): “(u) ‘trade agreement’ means a trade agreement mentioned in subsection 17(4)”.

Section amended The following subsections are added after subsection 17(3): “

(4) The council shall, in accordance with the regulations made pursuant to subsection (5), issue a licence to practise architecture to any person or corporation that complies with the requirements set out in this Act and the bylaws if the person or corporation beneÞ ts from a commitment in a trade agreement identiÞ ed in the regulations. “

(5) For the purposes of subsection (4), the Lieutenant Governor in Council may make regulations respecting: (

a) the identiÞ cation of trade agreements respecting the practice of architecture in Saskatchewan; and (

b) compliance with trade agreements mentioned in clause (a)”. Coming into force This Act comes into force on assent. Printed under the authority of The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan BILL No. 97
