Bill Considered and Reported • Bill (No. 22) – The Business Registration, Supervision and Ownership Transparency Act (Various Acts Amended)/Loi sur l'enregistrement, la surveillance et la transparence de la propriété effective des entreprises (modification de diverses dispositions législatives) Your Committee agreed to report this Bill, with the following amendments: THAT Clause of the Bill be amended in the proposed subsection 21.1(7) of The Corporations Act by striking out "or" at the end of clause (

d) and adding the following after clause (d): (d.1) a corporation without share capital; or THAT Clause of the Bill be replaced with the following: Coming into force — proclamation 64(1) Subject to subsection (2), this Act comes into force on a day to be fixed by proclamation. Coming into force — April 8, 2020 64(2) Sections 10, 19, 21, 23, 45 to 50, 52 and come into force on a day to be fixed by proclamation or on April 8, 2020, whichever occurs first.
