Bill No. 69 of A BILL TO AMEND THE MOTHERS' ALLOWANCE ACT NOTE This Bill amends The Mothers' Allowance .Act, being

chapter of the Revised Statutes of Alberta,

Section 2, clause (a),

section 3, subsection (3) and sec tion 9, subsection (2) are amended. The purpose of these amendments is to correct references to the Minister of Lands and Mines where used in connection with special areas, to the Minister of Municipal Affairs, the Minister now charged with the administration of the Special Areas Act. An Act to amend The Mothers' Allowance Act ( Assented to ,1953) HER MAJ~ST!, by and with the advice. and consent of the LegIslatIve A"ssembly of the ProvInce of Alberta, enacts as follows: 1.. The Mothers' Allowance Act, being

chapter of the Revised Statutes of Alberta, 1942, is hereby amended.

Section 2, clause (

a) is amended by striking out the Sectio.n t words "Lands and Mines" and by sustituting the words amended "Municipal Affairs".

Section 3, subsection (3) is amended by striking out Secti~n d3 the words "or by the Minister of Lands and Mines". amen e
