Treasury Board orders that, effective January 1, 2022,

(

a) the Motor Vehicle Act and Commercial Transport Act Retention of Fees Regulation, B.C. Reg. 123/91, is repealed, and

(

b) the attached Retention of Driver's Licence Fees Regulation is made.

RETENTION OF DRIVER'S LICENCE FEES REGULATION

Definition

1 In this regulation, "corporation" means the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia.

Retention of fees

2 The corporation is authorized to retain, as remuneration for services performed by agents who are retained by or enter into an agreement with the corporation under

section 9 (2) of the Insurance Corporation Act to provide driver licensing and related services, up to $13 of each fee collected by the corporation under item 4 (a) (

i) of the

Schedule to the Motor Vehicle Fees Regulation.
