OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General dated May 3, 2000, pursuant to the Notaries and Commissioners Act, and the

Interpretation Act, is pleased to: (

a) revoke the appointment of John J. Banfield of Glace Bay, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, as a Commissioner for taking Affidavits while employed with the Glace Bay Police Department, which appointment was made by Order in Council 88-965 dated September 13, 1988; and (

b) appoint John J. Banfield of Sydney, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, as a Commissioner for taking Affidavits, while employed with the Cape Breton Regional Police Service.
