Order in Council 1648/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 7(1) of the Ontario French-language Educational Communications Authority Act, 2008 ,

Xavier Brassard-Bédard of Ottawa

be appointed as chief executive officer of the Ontario French-language Educational Communications Authority to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding two years, effective the later of January 6, 2025 and the date this Order in Council is made.

And further that Order in Council O.C. 141/2023 be revoked effective the later of January 6, 2025 and the date this Order in Council is made.
