Order in Council 393/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas pursuant to subsection 62(1) of the Building Transit Faster Act, 2020 , land may be designated as transit corridor land if the Lieutenant Governor in Council is of the opinion that the designation is or may be required for a priority transit project, as defined in

section 2 of the Act ;

And

whereas the properties listed in the document titled “ SSE Designation Plan TCL PIN Table” attached hereto are or may be required as transit corridor land for the Scarborough Subway Extension, also known as the Line 2 East Extension, which is a priority transit project;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 62(1) of the Building Transit Faster Act, 2020 , the properties listed in the above-mentioned document are designated as transit corridor land for all purposes in respect of the Scarborough Subway Extension, effective the date of this Order.
