B.C. Reg. 179/2003, deposited April 24, 2003, pursuant to the PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS ACT [Section 133]. Order in Council 429/2003, approved and ordered April 24, 2003.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective May 1, 2003, the Petroleum and Natural Gas General Regulation, B.C. Reg. 357/98, is amended by repealing

section 2 (

e) and substituting the following:

(

e) for an application under

section 15 (6) of the Drilling and Production Regulation for a Well Authorization

(

i) during the period ending at the end of the day of March 31, 2005

(A) $8 400 in respect of the first well on a surface lease, and

(B) $7 800 in respect of each subsequent well on a surface lease, and
