B.C. Reg. 444/2003, deposited November 28, 2003, pursuant to the PUBLIC SERVICE BENEFIT PLAN ACT [Sections 3 and 7]. Order in Council 1135/2003, approved and ordered November 27, 2003.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(

a) the Extended Health Care and Dental Plans Regulation, B.C. Reg. 403/97, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 1,

(

b) the Group Life Insurance Regulation (No. 1), B.C. Reg. 408/97, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 2, and

(

c) the Long Term Disability Plan Regulation, B.C. Reg. 409/97, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 3. — S. SANTORI, Minister of Management Services; C. CLARK, Presiding Member of the Executive Council.

Appendix 1

Section 2 of the Extended Health Care and Dental Plans Regulation, B.C. Reg. 403/97, is amended

(

a) in paragraph (

b) by striking out "British Columbia Ferry Corporation" and substituting "British Columbia Ferry Services Inc. and Deas Pacific Marine Corporation",

(

b) by repealing paragraphs (o), (

y) and (z),

(

c) in paragraph (

p) by striking out "Workers' Compensation Review Boards" and substituting "Workers' Compensation Appeal Tribunal",

(

d) in paragraph (

r) by striking out "Land Reserve Commission" and substituting "Agricultural Land Commission",

(

e) in paragraph (gg) by striking out "First Peoples' Cultural Foundation" and substituting "First People's Heritage, Language and Cultural Council",

(

f) in paragraph (zz) by striking out "of the New Democratic Party",

(

g) by adding the following paragraphs:

(aaa) eligible employees of the Royal BC Museum;

(bbb) eligible excluded employees of Partnerships British Columbia;

(ccc) the British Columbia Excluded Employees' Association as employer and its eligible employees; ,

(

h) effective December 21, 2003, by adding the following paragraph:

(eee) eligible employees of the Freshwater Fisheries Society; , and

(

i) effective April 1, 2004, by adding the following paragraph:

(fff) eligible employees of the British Columbia Safety Authority.

Appendix 2

Section 2 of the Group Life Insurance Regulation (No.1), B.C. Reg. 408/97, is amended

(

a) in paragraphs (

d) and (

e) by striking out "British Columbia Ferry Corporation" and substituting "British Columbia Ferry Services Inc. and Deas Pacific Marine Corporation",

(

b) by repealing paragraphs (t), (gg), (hh), (rrr) and (sss),

(

c) in paragraph (

u) by striking out "Workers' Compensation Review Boards" and substituting "Workers' Compensation Appeal Tribunal",

(

d) in paragraph (ss) by striking out "First Peoples' Cultural Foundation" and substituting "First People's Heritage, Language and Cultural Council",

(

(

Section 4 is amended by striking out "section 2 (c), (g), (h), (i), (k), (l), (m), (n), (o), (p), (q), (s), (t), (u), (v), (x), (y), (dd), (ee), (ff), (gg), (hh), (jj), (nn), (pp), (qq), (rr), (ss), (tt), (uu), (xx), (aaa), (ggg), (jjj), (lll), (mmm), (ooo) and (qqq):" and substituting "section 2 (c), (g), (h), (i), (k), (l), (m), (n), (o), (p), (q), (s), (u), (v), (x), (y), (dd), (ee), (ff), (jj), (nn), (pp), (qq), (rr), (ss), (tt), (uu), (xx), (aaa), (ggg), (jjj), (lll), (mmm), (ooo), (qqq), (ttt), (vvv), (xxx), (zzz), (aaaa) and (dddd):".

Section 5 (

a) is amended by striking out "or (rrr)" and substituting "(uuu), (www), (bbbb) or (cccc)".

Appendix 3

1 The Long Term Disability Plan Regulation, B.C. Reg. 409/97, is amended in

section 1.2 (c) (ii) by striking out "British Columbia Ferry Corporation" and substituting "British Columbia Ferry Services Inc.".

Section 2.3 is amended

(

a) in paragraph (

a) by striking out "Plan Type A, B, F, G or H" and substituting "Plan Type A, B, F or G",

(

b) in paragraph (e) (

i) by striking out "Plan Type A, B, F or H" and substituting "Plan Type A, B, F, G or H", and

(

c) in paragraph (e) (ii) by striking out "Plan Type D, E or G" and substituting "Plan Type D or E".

Section A of

Schedule A is amended

(

a) by repealing paragraphs (k), (s), (x), (

y) and (cc),

(

b) in paragraph (ee) by striking out "First Peoples' Cultural Foundation" and substituting "First People's Heritage, Language and Cultural Council",

(

c) in paragraph (ss) by striking out "B.C. Assets and Land Commission" and substituting "Land and Water British Columbia Inc.", and

(

d) by adding the following paragraphs:

Schedule A is amended

(

c) in paragraph (bb) by striking out "bargaining unit",

(

d) in paragraph (cc) by striking out "excluded", and

(

e) by adding the following paragraphs:

(dd) all eligible regular bargaining unit employees of the Royal BC Museum;

(ee) all eligible regular bargaining unit employees of the British Columbia Safety Authority;

(ff) all eligible regular bargaining unit employees of the Freshwater Fisheries Society.

Section D of

Schedule A is amended by striking out "British Columbia Ferry Corporation" and substituting "British Columbia Ferry Services Inc. and Deas Pacific Marine Corporation".

Section E of

Schedule A is amended by striking out "British Columbia Ferry Corporation" and substituting "British Columbia Ferry Services Inc. and Deas Pacific Marine Corporation".

Section H (

a) of

Schedule A is amended by striking out "full-time" and "of the New Democratic Party".

Section I of

Schedule A is repealed and the following substituted:

I Plan Type J applies to

(

a) all eligible regular judges appointed under the Provincial Court Act , and

(

b) eligible regular masters of the Supreme Court of British Columbia if applicability is specified in the appointing order.
