EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Bill would amend the Services Charges Act to increase the minimum amount payable for the registration of a real property transaction to $100.

Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows:

SNL1998 cS-13.2 as amended

Section 5 of the Services Charges Act is amended by striking out the figure $75" wherever it occurs and substituting the figure "$100".

Commencement

2. This Act comes into force on November 1, 2005.
