OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated December 13, 2005, and pursuant to Sections 2(a)(b)(e), 6, 16(1)(

b) and (g), and 34(1)(

f) of

Chapter 30 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 2000, the Nova Scotia Business Incorporated Act, and Regulations thereunder, Sections 2(1)(o), 9(3) and 9(4), and Sections 59A(

a) and 59C(1) of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, and pursuant to Sections 2(b), 2(c), 3(1)(c), 3(1)(d), and 5 of

Chapter 222 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Industrial Development Act, is pleased to: (

a) approve financial assistance by way of a payroll rebate to Consolidated Fastfrate Inc., in an amount not to exceed $1,646,912.00, authorized by the Board of Directors of Nova Scotia Business Incorporated on September 8, 2005, on terms and conditions generally as outlined in

Schedule "A" annexed to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated December 13, 2005; (

b) authorize financial assistance to Consolidated Fastfrate (Nova Scotia) Holdings Inc., in an amount not to exceed $750,000.00 on terms and conditions generally as outlined in

Schedule "B" annexed to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated December 13, 2005; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Economic Development to execute such agreements, documents and instruments as may be required to give effect to this Order.
