I, Josie Osborne, Minister of Health, order that, effective April 1, 2026,

(

a) the Health and Care Professionals Regulation, B.C. Reg. 131/2025, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 1,

(

b) the Nurses and Midwives Regulation, B.C. Reg. 133/2025, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 2, and

(

c) the Regulated Health Practitioners Regulation, B.C. Reg. 129/2025, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 3.

Schedule 1

Section 46 of the Health and Care Professionals Regulation, B.C. Reg. 131/2025, is amended

(

a) in subsection (1) (

b) by striking out " of the cardiorespiratory and neuromusculoskeletal systems ",

(

b) by repealing subsection (1) (

c) and substituting the following:

(

c) advising on the physical health of patients. ,

(

c) in subsection (2) by striking out " , as they relate to the systems referred to in subsection (1) (b) ", and

(

d) in subsection (2) (

a) by striking out " as it relates to the diseases, disorders and conditions referred to in subsection (1) (b) ".

Schedule 2

1 The Nurses and Midwives Regulation, B.C. Reg. 133/2025, is amended by repealing

section 6 (3) (a).

Section 56 is amended

(

a) by repealing subsection (1) (

b) and substituting the following:

(

b) preventing, treating and managing physical and mental diseases, disorders and conditions of midwifery patients and their newborns and infants, including carrying out appropriate emergency measures when necessary; , and

(

b) in subsection (2) by adding " and mental " after " physical ".

Schedule 3

1 The Regulated Health Practitioners Regulation, B.C. Reg. 129/2025, is amended in item 53 of the table to

section 4 of the

Schedule of Restricted Activities by striking out " installation " and substituting " instillation ".
