OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General dated August 30, 2010, and pursuant to

Section 72 of

Chapter 28 of the Acts of 2004, the Legal Profession Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint George Hudson of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Board of Governors of the Law Foundation of Nova Scotia for a term of two years commencing October 5, 2010; and (

b) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against George Hudson, and indemnify him from personal liability, provided that the Province is satisfied the claim arises out of his activities in relation to his appointment and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends him, the Province will be in control of the case.
